The USS Constitution was one of the most famous warships in history. Nicknamed "Old Ironsides" due to the British soldiers watching their shells bounce off her hull in the war of 1812. This ship was armed with 4 cannons and survived 42 battles and sailed all over the world. Put yourself aboard the Constitution and become part of that historic battles by building and owning your own "Old Ironsides" cannon. This replica cannon features a .69 caliber barrel and a working carriage. This .69 caliber has the look and feel of a working piece of artillery. When assembled, this cannon is fully operational and accurate in scale and detail.
