BROWN BESS FLINTLOCK MUSKET w/BAYONETNobleWares Image of non-firing replica of the Brown Bess Flintlock Musket of the Revolutionary War model 1054 by Denix of Spain 1054 by DENIX
The Continental Army was armed with the weapon at the start of hostilities and, as the American Revolution progressed, many more were manufactured locally. The classic "Brown Bess" was used throughout the American Revolutionary War by both sides. This beautifully crated non-firing replica weighs in at a hefty 7 pounds and measures 75 inches in overall length, is accurately detailed and comes complete with a removable bayonet. This non-firing replica has all of the features of the original, including a full length wood stock with antique grey finish barrel, trigger, frizzen, pot, rod and lock plate assembly. The wood and grey tones are complemented with antique brass finish butt plate, trigger guard, and stock furniture. Rotate the frizzen, cock the hammer, and pull the trigger – the hammer falls just like it did for our founding fathers more than 250 years ago.

The "Brown Bess" was one of the most renowned flintlock muskets ever produced. Introduced during the reign of Queen Anne (1702-1714), the gun was produced for over a century and was one of the most significant firearms of the American Revolutionary War. The Continental Army was armed with the weapon at the start of hostilities and, as the war progressed, many more were manufactured locally. The musket was still in British service at the time of the Napoleonic Wars in Europe (1799-1815). It weighed a hefty fifteen pounds with its bayonet and fired a ball three quarters of an inch in diameter!
Note: You must 18 years of age or older to purchase this pistol. These handsome collector model guns are made of antique finished zinc cast metal and polished European hardwoods. The screw heads are molded into the metal and cannot be removed. These models cannot withstand misuse or excessive dry-firing. Cannot be made to fire real ammunition.
