These Marto editions were inspired by the Ninja myth; men skilled in the art of Ninjutsu, translated as "acting without alerting". These are the legendary agents who worked as spies and silent killers at the service of the Lords in the feudal Japan.
Each weapon here are in fact whole black, as the clothes of the Ninja that performed their tasks during the night, all but the covering of the grip (samè), in origin made of rayskin. Characteristic is also the square shape of the guard (tsuba). The Ninjs-To and Wakizashi are equipped with a ninja stars carried on the upper face of the tsuba guard, two small knives (Kogatana) housed in the outer side of the scabbard and two throwing knives (Shuriken) hidden internally that can be slip out from the scabbard tip; one of which can be attached to the scabbard tip allowing the scabbard to be used as a spear. The straight, one-edged blades are made in blackened steel. |

NINJA-TO MODEL 375 by MARTO
Keeping to the Ninja tradition the square styled guard (tsuba) of the Ninja-To is black & equipped with 2 throwing stars housed on the upper face of the guard. Two easy-access small knives (Kogatana) are housed in the outer side of the scabbard and two throwing knives (Shuriken) hidden internally that can be slipped out from the scabbard tip. The straight, sharpened, one-edged blades are made in blackened Toledo forged 440 steel. The hard faced scabbards are made in textured jet black and feature black traditional hand tied Saego. NINJA WAKIZASHI - MODEL 329 by MARTO
Like its companions in the Ninja Set, the Ninja Wakizashi 329 is crafted almost entirely in Black to aid in the required stealth of the Ninja performing their tasks during the night. The Wakizashi also features the square shape of the guard (tsuba) and is equipped with throwing stars housed on the upper face of the guard. Two stilets (Kogatana) are secured in the outer sides of the scabbard and two throwing knives (Kogatana) are hidden internally that can be slipped out from the scabbard tip. The sharpened, one-edged blades are made in Toledo forged 440 steel which is blackened to maintain stealth. |

NINJA TANTO - MODEL 657 by MARTO
The Ninja Tanto 657 by Marto of Toledo Spain features a black lacquered texture baked aluminum scabbard (saya) with traditional corded wrap. The hilt features the square Tsuba of the Ninja tradition and is in fact whole black, as the clothes of the Ninja that performed their tasks during the night; all but the covering of the grip (samè), in origin made of rayskin. The Tanto measures 18 inches overall and like its counterparts features the famous Toledo forged 440 steel blade with has been blackened for stealth. Official Product of Marto of Spain. |
