To install: First established the desired distance that you want between your posts for your specific sword, mark a dot on your wall or plaque where to drill a pilot hole. Then use both a level and rulers to accurately mark the second pilot hole position. Once the pilot holes are drilled, secure the base nuts to the mounting surface (threads up) by using the counter sunk screws provided. When base nuts are in place, screw on the posts to each nut hiding the screw heads and hand tighten to a snug fit. Mount your sword on the posts and mark position and secure the Tip Ring at the Swords point to hold it securely in place. Voila! You can now vertically display your sword in beautiful elegance!
