This universal sword hanger features a sculpted roaring Lion mounted on a Shield Crest base. Constructed of heavy cast plaster the sword hanger features a detailed sculpted design, finished in deep, rich, antique bronze with golden highlight accents. This regal hanger is made to look and feel like heavy antique brass. The lions head opening will accommodate a blade width of 1 3/4 inches maximum with no resistance*. The chin slot measures 1 3/4" and is located approx 7 inches below the 2 3/4 opening at top of the head*. Included are metal hanging slots on the back and mounting hardware consisting of two dry-wall anchors and screws.

(*Note: So for example, if you have a blade that tapers from 1 inch up to 2 inches wide towards the hilt, the blade being inserted will stop at the chin at whatever point the width of your blade reaches 1 3/4". If your blade width is never more than 1 3/4 inches in width, it will slide through all the way allowing the hilt to rest on the top of the lions head.)
