These Marto Medieval Swords are constructed with undecorated handles and blades, traditional guards and pommels, replicating a more common rustic sword of the medieval period. The Marto medieval 743 features a round "type J" wheel style pommel, "style 6" cross guard, leather wrap grip and a fully tempered low maintenance 440 stainless steel blade with a fuller groove down its center.
Each model comes complete with wooden sheath bearing antiqued silver sculpted chape and locket with scabbard ring. This set is ideal for recreationists who just want to wear a medieval sword as complement; yet desire the realistic look, weight, and feel of a real battle ready sword.
The sword measures 39-1/2 inches overall and weighs approximately 4.5 lbs.
