TEMPLAR KNIGHT BREASTPLATE 945.4 BY MARTO MARTESPA The Templar Knight Armor Breastplate by Marto of Toledo Spain is a one-piece Toledo steel breastplate excluding the backplate, allowing it to be mounted and displayed upon a flat surface or wall. Inspired by those used by the Templar army as shown by the famous “Sigillum Militum Xristi”. The breastplate bears the Templars' official seal of two knights on the same horse (a symbol of poverty), and the Templar Cross patée, the insignia of the officers of a Grand Commandery. The seals are engraved near the heart and the cross on the bottom right fauld. A great conversation piece and wonderful collectors item, this decorative breastplate is not intended to be worn but most appropriately displayed. Made of Toledo Steel and hand made in the tradition that Marto is renown, this armour is a beautiful yet powerful decor piece crafted by prestigious Marto Martespa of Spain.
