BLUNT COMBAT GOTHIC LONGSWORD AH3370F DEEPEEKA
This Gothic styled Medieval Longsword (AH3370F) is made by Deepeeka of India and sports a 36 1/8 inch blunted high carbon steel blade with a rounded tip intended for stage and sport combat.
This cruciform hilt dagger features flared quillions decorated with rectangular and trefoil drop outs resembling classic architecture found in Gothic cathedrals. The wide guard and large wheel pommel are constructed of steel and create a nice balance with sufficient hand protection for this unique Longsword. The EN45 High Carbon Steel dual-edge blade is full tang and runs all the way through the pommel where it is then secured by a large threaded nut.
This Medieval Gothic Longsword has a 7 1/2" wooden core grip. The lower half of the grip features an overlay of black leather over risers fitted beneath the leather, while the remainder of the grip ascending to the pommel is a twisted steel wire wrap creating unique visual appeal as well as a producing a secure grip and vivid navigational feel while positioning the hands.
The scabbard is crafted from wood, bound in leather and fitted with a protective steel chape that carries the tri-circular (trefoil) motif. This Sword is a perfect training companion to the Deepeeka Blunt Stage Combat Medieval Gothic Dagger AH6973F also available.
