King Elendil was Isildur"s father, he was the original bearer of the great sword Narsil, as seen in the prologue of the New Line Cinema motion picture The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Reproduced from the actual prop helmets utilizing

craftsmanship. The Helm of King Elendil is crafted in iron, adorned embossed brass decorations and given a weathered and distressed finish. Fully functional & wearable the helms interior is lined in
genuine leather and includes a metal buckle adjustable leather neck strap. The neck and cheek guards are precision lined with soft genuine
leather. Individually serialized on a solid brass
plate mounted on the inside back of the helmet to
insure authenticity, this licensed Lord of the Rings prop replica comes with a
beautifully designed 9-1/2"W x 10"D
x 13-7/8"H wood helmet stand with burned-edge finish, brass medallion, and “The

Elendil™, wise and fair King and builder of the strongholds of Gondor, kept watch over much of Middle-earth. For more than an Age, a great darkness covered the lands until Elendil™ united with Gil-galad to form The Last Alliance of Elves and Men. Elendil™ led his men to victory against Sauron and his legions of orcs, in the Battle of Dagorlad. Then, on the slopes of Mount Orodruin, despite heavy losses, the Alliance managed to drive Sauron’s forces back. Cornered there, Sauron himself took to the battlefield. After heavy battle, Sauron slayed the Great King of Men, Elendil™, and shattered his legendary sword, Narsil™. The armour and helm of Elendil™ were adorned with the feathered wings and crests of seabirds. These emblems represented Elendil’s™ arrival from over the sea in ships that sailed on the wings of the wind. The crest and wings of Elendil’s™ helm were slightly larger than other Gondorian helms, symbolizing his status as king.
