Kit Rae VORTHELOK SWORD (KR0046A) UNITED CUTLERY
AUTOGRAPHED EDITION
The latest in the Swords of the Ancients collection, this autographed limited edition Vorthelok features a stainless steel blade (false edged), engraved runes, finely detailed cast metal hilt parts with ”antiqued iron” metal finish, and a waxed cotton cord wrapped grip. This rare autographed and serial numbered first production run is factory sealed and was strictly limited to 2000 pieces worldwide! Includes a certificate of authenticity and custom art print depicting Vorthelok custom art print hand autographed by Kit Rae. 28" blade, 45" overall. United Cutlery, KR0046.
The Sword of Atnal. Forged by the evil Ancient One Evruc in the Fourth Age, Vorthelok was later enchanted by his brother Atnal and used against Evruc when he was cast out of the order of the Ancients. Wrought in the hand guard is the symbol of the watching eye of Evruc. Its grip is waxed cord wrapped, and the pommel is formed in the likeness of Evruc’s terrible head. The blade features runes that translate as “Out of Darkness Comes Light”. There are also runes engraved in the fuller that translate as “From my fire this sword, from my teeth this edge, in my hands all will yield”. They only appear when an Ancient One is near. |

In the beginning of things in ages past there were the Ancient Ones, masters of flesh, fire, and steel, who forged the elements of which the land was made. When men and beasts came into the world the Ancient Ones purposed to have dominion over them, hence they commanded that the Dark Elves create the "Swords of the Ancients." They were forged of secret alloys and each sword was bequeathed its own special power. The swords have been used throughout the ages in the eternal struggle between good and evil.
