Kit Rae EXOTATH SWORD (KR0030) UNITED CUTLERY
Famed fantasy artist and weapon designer Kit Rae delivers another design from his epic mythological tale "The Tale of the Swords of the Ancients and Other Blades of Power." This is Exotath, which granted its wielder the ability to see into the future and thus provided a great advantage in battle. Exotath measures 44 3/4" overall and features a striking, finely detailed cast metal hilt with antique finish and genuine leather wrapped grip. The 28 3/4" blade is 420 JS stainless steel construction accented by a deep fuller and leather wrapped blade grip. This item also includes a certificate of authenticity, and a Kit Rae art print. "When the enchantments were complete The Dark One named the swords the Exotath in the ancient language of the Anath, Thant. The word “exo“ translated as oracle and “tath“ as steel, thus the oracle of steel was born. In the runes of Thant he engraved these words: “By the Anath that which is to come is revealed to me. By Evruc, master of the Ancients, I am empowered“. The Dark One envisioned that a fierce soldier would wield the Exotath and lead his army." Thus he called for his sorceress Methuscia to use her oracular sight to divine the one he must find for this task. |

Kit Rae "Swords of the Ancients" And so the tale begins ... In the beginning of things in ages past there were the Ancient Ones, masters of flesh, fire, and steel, who forged the elements of which the land was made. When men and beasts came into the world the Ancient Ones purposed to have dominion over them, hence they commanded that the Dark Elves create the "Swords of the Ancients." They were forged of secret alloys and each sword was bequeathed its own special power. The swords have been used throughout the ages in the eternal struggle between good and evil.
