The Sword of Lagertha crafted by Shadow Cutlery features a pommel, guard and black blade cast in stainless steel, leather wrapped handle. The sword is based on the actual television prop used in the popular television series; an original Canadian-Irish series broadcast by the Canadian television channel, History, created and written by Michael Hirst.

The Scabbard of Lagertha SH8011 by Shadow Cutlery is Designed to fit Lagertha's Viking Sword SH8001. The scabbard features bicast leather and imitation goat fur. This Sword of Lagertha has a blade of 420J2 Stainless Steel that has been given a blackened finish. The hilt consists of a simple down-turned guard, a large three-lobed pommel and a leather wrapped grip representing typical Viking Sword styles of the period. The zamak cast hilt components have been given a distressed antique patina finish giving a hand-forged battle-worn look as seen in the actual film prop. This prop replica sword has good balance and feels very comfortable in the hand.
Each Lagertha Sword comes with a wooden display plaque adorn with water-transfer Viking graphics matching the other Shadow Cutlery replica Viking swords and weapons of this product line. The shield shaped wall display allows this sword to be mounted vertically (mounting hardware and instructions are included). Both Lagertha's Viking Sword and Scabbard come with a Certificates of Authenticity. Sword and Scabbard are each Sold Separately.
