RAPTOR TANTO (SH2423) CAS HANWEI
While the Tanto and Wakizashi of the Raptor series provide matching pieces for any of the Raptor Katana, they are in their own right designed as very effective cutting tools. Made in the blade style of James Williams’ personal Nami Ryu swords, these pieces will allow the cutting practitioner to perfect techniques for each of the three weapons, at the same time as they complete an impressive display.
The Raptor Tanto measures 16 1/2 inches in overall length and finds its point of balance at 1 1/2 inches. Features a forged 5160 high carbon steel blade marquenched to an edge hardness of 57HRc. The grip is wood covered in genuine rayskin and a black suede wrap for a firm grip. The tsuba and fittings are blackened iron and feature a raptor motif. Includes a wood saya with a matte black textured finger-print resistant lacquer finish. |
