GREAT WAVE TANTO (SH5022) CAS HANWEI
The Hanwei Great Wave (Tsunami) Tanto displays the renowned Tomoe motif used frequently for family crests and shrine decoration. The blade is hand-forged from T10 high-carbon steel and is differentially hardened using traditional claying methods. The temper line (hamon) is evident and prominent. The handle on the Great Wave Tanto is made of attractive ribbed buffalo horn. The Tanto measures 11 3/4 inches overall and has a point of balance at 5/8" from the guard. Includes a deeply lacquered black saya, traditional cleaning kit and cloth storage bag.
