WIDOW'S WAIL SWORD VS0116 Valyrian Steel
One of the proudest families in Westeros, the Lannister's lacked a Valyrian Steel sword of their own until Tywin Lannister melted down the Stark family sword Ice to make two new blades (Oathkeeper and Widow's Wail). Widow's Wail which was the smaller of the two and was given to King Joffrey as a gift for his wedding to Margaery Tyrell. Joffrey owned Widow's Wail only long enough to name it as he perished from drinking poisoned wine the very same day. The sword sat unused until it was later taken up by Jaime Lannister as his personal sword.
This officially licensed reproduction of Widows Wail by Valyrian Steel is from HBOs Game of Thrones is limited to 2500 numbered swords. The blade is AUS-6 Stainless Steel which bears the production number of the sword on the base of the blade on a single side. The intricately detailed hilt is antiqued brass inset with faux gemstones. Included is an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity and a wood wall display plaque emblazoned with the Lannister Lion - mounting hardware is included.
